As March departs, the time grows near,
For Monthly staff to lend an ear,
For I shall spin a yarn of lore,
As such thou hast not heard before.
In Paris, France, “la ville lumière,”
(City of Lights), a spire stands there.
Its roots run deep, its girders girth-y,
A clockwork world, who goes by “Earthy.”
