Timecards on Ice!

Hello, Solid Water Surface Activity Fans!

Have you ever seen a show “on ice?”

How about one about magical timecards where the stars carry magical timecards and try to find the magical timeclock to report their magical hours?

Well, this is another one of those!

And it’s fair-to-middling, to boot!

Here’s what the people are saying:

“It’s delightfully adequate!” –EyeSk8

“While it’s no Kronos-capades! It still manages to keep skating through my mind!” –Mr.IcyBite

“It’s almost better than The Timecard Kids Go Ice Fishing, only with extensively fewer fish!” –FrozNToes227

So grab a parka, see it for yourself and decide!

Timecard Twisters

Preempt Exempts:

Approve your timecards for July, why?
So, I can be the guy
Who can say that I
Have all the timecards by and by
Approved completely for July.
That’s why.

How much time should a timekeeper keep
If a timekeeper should keep time?
A timekeeper should, as much as is good,
Keep the time that one should
If a timekeeper should keep time.

Timmy Timer kept a timecard
Past when it was due.
Now Timmy Timer has no time
Nor card to add it to.

I have a timecard
that can record any time
That a timecard
That can record any time
Can record.

Punching Out! The Timecard Musical!

Review:

Not since “Kronos! The Opera!” has Timekeeping been so deliberately music-ified.

With a no-star cast and an audience of dozens, I clocked in and waited for the show to begin.

The kick-off number, “Looks Like Java’s Mad At Kronos, Again!”
was indeed a jaunty piece that set the tone for this tale of two lovers from different worlds:
a Timekeeper boy and the I.T. girl he fancies.

He then serenaded her departmental website picture with the wistful ballad, “Will You Ever Approve?”

Followed by a Rock ‘n’ Roll dream sequence number, “Don’t Forget to Hit Save!”

Then a lovely instant messaging duet, “Take a Chance, But Leave A Comment!”

Before ending with the grandiose, mostly-orchestrated finale, “Sign-Off!”

Truly the feel-okay show of the current pay period.

[The show’s run extends from 6/21/15 through 7/4/15.
Students, non-exempts and limiteds get first dibs.]

Timecards (not Spam!)

Do read this email,
Sir and Ma'am,
It's for your timecards
(Not for spam).

I hate spam
Spam hater I am.

Junk mail,
Pop ups,
All spam I slam.

But how I love
Timecards
(Not Spam!)

When they're approved
I'm very moved
and
Happy as a clam.

I would like them in a cave
Especially after hitting save.
I would like them on a boat
Signing off when there's a note.

So all exempts
The time is soon
To mark your time
For all of June.
