Holiday Time!

Hello, BiWeekly Staff (Students, Non-Exempts & Limiteds) for the period of 12/18 – 12/31/16,

Please, as a backup, let your supervisors know what hours you work because--

When we return on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 all BiWeekly Timecards must be completed on that one single day!

So, Clocky and Watchy have prepared something to say:

Something all true Crusaders can promptly achieve!)

*For ALL BiWeekly AND Monthly workers as well,

Double Time!

Greetings intrepid Timecard-sters!

Clocky & Watchy are in parallel dimensions just now, a melding of pay periods, a collision of cycles!

As it is time for BOTH Biweekly (11/20/16 to 12/3/16) AND Monthly (for November) timecard approval!

Please don’t let this split your brains (as it has mine)!*

*Despite the fact that our brains are already split into two hemispheres!

Game Time!

BiWeekly Pay Period: 10/23/16 – 11/5/16

Time to play!

Report EARLY to make sure you have all your hours and approvals in before:

…Parents & Family Weekend!

…Daylight Savings Time Ends!

…Election Day!

Communicate with your supervisors about your hours worked so that they may fill in your hours if you can’t!

Make sure the Kronos site is working at speed!

Add comments for all exceptions to policy! (Approving all timecards is policy--even empty ones)!

You know the old saying: Cooperation accomplishes our goals to a satisfactory degree! (I’m paraphrasing).

Gramps & lil clocky in Beach Time

BiWeekly Timecards are due!
(8/28/16 – 9/10/16)
Don’t let time [reporting] slip away!

[From Clocky’s photo album]

As the Summer ends I’m reminded of a time…

As a kid, of going to the beach with my grandfather.
I knew he didn’t care for it much—the sand was hard for him to walk on,
But he went for me, so that I could play, and watch the passage of the sun and the tides.

I still visit him in the home he lives in, but he’s not as mobile as he once was.

This is a picture of us when I was only just a few tocks old.

Love you, Gramps!

Clocky & Watchy in "Time Flies"

Hello, Exempt Staffers!

August is done—“so soon?” (I know!).

Go ahead and report any sick or vacation leave (in 8-hour increments) and approve your timecards so that your supervisors may, likewise, approve.

Also, please keep your hands (and feet, if you got ‘em) inside as the ride is about to begin!

Moving Time!

Hello, Office Workers of a BiWeekly Bent!

(That includes non-exempts, student staff and the occasional limited employee, as applicable, for the pay period of 7/31 to 8/13/16).

Now is the time to fill-out and approve your hours so that your supervisors can approve them and then we timekeepers can sign-off making everything complete!

You may be surprised to learn that the list of BiWeekly staff in Institutional Advancement is upwards of 250 people!!

So the sooner you finish (with all necessary comments where appropriate) the sooner we can get time moving!

[Disclaimer: manually moving the clock forward won’t actually give you more hours, but it may land you in hot water with the boss!]

Sweet Time!

Sweet Greetings, Sweet Timers!

For all you Monthly (for July) and BiWeekly (for 7/17-7/30) candy fans, now’s your chance to approve your timecards!

Let’s not sugarcoat it, it’s part of the job, but a spoonful of honey makes it much easier!!

Have something sweet and tasty while you work, and you’ll see what I mean!

All the Pep!

Hey, Gang!

It’s time once again to show your Gaucho pride by letting us know what we owe you for all your hard work!

So, if you report your time biweekly, then mark down your hours worked on your timecards for the period from 7/3 to 7/16/16!

If you work in more than one department then be sure to indicate which fund to use! Approve it! Then get your supervisor to approve!

And then have a great weekend!!

Go Gauchos!!

Golden Time!

Hello, All You Clockpunchers and Leave Reporters!

Today is a grand confluence of events.

My boss, Cheryl Kelly, is retiring after 38 years.

Exempt timecards are ready for approval for the month of June.

Non-exempt timecards are ready for approval (6/19-7/2).

Monday is a holiday (Happy Fourth!) so Tuesday will be a mad scramble to complete the non-exempts, limiteds and students.

So, let’s all pull together to make this one a smooth one!

Or Cheryl will come back to git ya!

(I mean, she won’t, but y’all got a little worried there for a second, didn’t ya?)

;)

How to Report Time

Hello, Exempt Staff!

It is time now for you to fill out your timecards for the month of May.

Please remember that as Exempt staff (meaning: exempt from overtime accruals) Vacation and Sick Leave are the only items you need to manually report, and then only in 8 hour increments.

I have provided a cheat sheet for further instructions (please see below).

Thank you in advance for your compliance.

Find the Time!

The secret hour will soon be here,
BiWeekly staff & Supervisors too,
Delay at your peril, and I fear,
They’ll be nothing more anyone can do!

Saturday will end the chase,
I’m giving you a chance to win,
Only you can earn your place,
By getting all your timecards in!

The heat is on,
I’m on the lam,
I may be gone…
